- Our attorneys have defended asbestos suits for numerous national U.S. manufacturers for decades. We have represented parties who have mined, sold and manufactured products containing asbestos, and who have had asbestos in their buildings. We have defended direct and second-hand exposure cases.
- We defended and won at trial in Cook County, Illinois (Chicago) the first toxic mold personal injury case arising in a residential setting.
- Successfully defended a major university from claims that the presence of mold injured its students.
- Our partners have successfully represented parties in cases involving chemical discharges. These cases involve a wide range of chemicals. Notable cases include the defense of cases involving the deaths of multiple contractors and rescue workers from argon gas poisoning and a massive highway pile-up after discharge of anhydrous ammonia, causing death and permanent injuries.
- We have defended large, privately owned food suppliers and food servers for injuries arising locally and nationally from foods contaminated with organisms such as salmonella and listeria.

- We defended one of the first “sick building syndrome” (indoor pollution) cases in Illinois brought against the owners and developers of the John Hancock Building.
